| Description: | Launched on January 4, 2000 the Canadian Cultural Web Directory (CCWD) is my Millenium gift to Canadians; it will always be free to be in and free to use. The directory advocates access to Canadian arts and culture and depends upon the advocacy of others in order to grow; suggestions for inclusion are important, so please make suggestions.
The CCWD is JavaTM powered (JavaTM was invented by a Canadian, James Gosling). The CCWD does not look and operate like other portals or search engines, and there are important reasons for this. Firstly, I do not sell keywords to entities seeking preferential exposure; listings are presented as an indexed menu in alphabetical order to present a level field of visibility for Canada's arts and cultural complex. The directory does not present advertising, opinion or news. I set no cookies, track no travels, send no spam and do not accept paid placements. For those of you who are listed, the directory will not show up as a referrer in your web logs. |
